Liliana is shocked to find a dying man in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the remains of a brutal fight. She brings him home to her father’s farm to nurse him back to health. However, when the stranger regains consciousness, he doesn’t remember who he is or how he came to be there.
Intrigued by the mystery of it all, Liliana sets out to discover who this handsome, well-mannered stranger is. Could he be the man who whisks her away and shows her the world? Or will whatever happened in the forest put her and everyone she loves in grave danger?

This is the beginning of a slow burn, closed door (fade to black) romantic fantasy series with adult protagonists, an unconventional story line, demonic powers, and those magical fairy tale vibes.
Follow Liliana as she tries her best to balance love, family relationships, morals, ambition and responsibilities when her world expands from her little cozy village to events that span the Continent.
Book 2: A Tale of Something Red

Liliana finds herself caught in the crossfire of the scheming, bloodthirsty nobility of the Continent. Enemies lurk not just across the border but even within the ranks of El’s family at Castle Finsterwald.
As she uncovers secrets about the past and the power of the vampiric Curse, Liliana must find her own ways to fight in order to protect her daughter and the man she starts to, against better judgment, fall for once more.
Book 3: A Tale of Something Borrowed
The Third Path (the Love Interest POV)
To be alive means to change.
Eldric’s worst fears have come true. Having failed to protect Annie and Liliana from his enemies, he's left to deal with the aftermath of what happened in the Crimson Plains, a scared little daughter to raise and a web of complicated relationships to untangle.
He must now stop the former war general Sartiria from hunting down and killing the only human who might possess the power to return what he has lost. The fact that said general wears his beloved's face and carries her scent only makes matters worse.

The Path of Resistance (the Villain POV)
Where there is Light, Darkness cannot exist.
After centuries of slumber, Sartiria awakens to find a world gone soft, where despite everything that was sacrificed during the war, vampires reign in the shadows rather than rule in open dominion. Granting humans too much freedom is nothing short of dangerous. So she will rise to the top to crush the Light magic and its followers for good.
This would be a lot easier if it weren’t for the meddling of the powerful but foolish elite, especially one infuriating Lord Eldric of Finsterwald. He seems to have entertained a grotesque relationship with the human, whose body Sartiria now inhabits — one she fully intends to exploit.
Book 4: A Tale of Something Dead
There is a seat for everyone at destiny’s table.
Liliana has regained control of her own body and must face the damage Sartiria wrought. The other Lords are highly suspicious of her sudden transformation back to being human. Annie rejects her mother, who she feels abandoned by, while El is unable to touch Liliana due to the Light inside of her. What does this mean for them? Where is Liliana’s place truly?
As if all this weren’t enough, she learns that her best friend and cousin Valerie has gone missing. So she sets off in search of her, without realising how far this adventurous journey will take her … or that it may just end in the clutches of the rumoured Dead King.
This is the last book in the A Tale of Series.
